My V.E.G. Story

 

My name is Jenna Johansen and I am a proud Boulder, Colorado native. I have been a well respected professional chef for over 25 years. Travel is in my blood and I have been fortunate to have cooked and eaten all over the world, which has deeply influenced my palette. I am deeply rooted in the Colorado restaurant culture and still volunteer on the Board of Directors for the Colorado Restaurant Association. When Covid-19 hit, I followed my heart to the other side of the garden to become a full-time farmer, which keeps me connected to the earth that provides the food I love to cook. Instead of cooking and planning for Martha Stewart style weddings, I will love to cook for you and your family and teach you about the bounty the soil can provide! My farm grows deep in the heart of Denver. In 2021, I am celebrating the opportunity for learning to raise honey bees (Italian, of course), growing veggies & fresh flowers for the CSA, and connecting with individuals and families who want to appreciate freshly grown organic food. I will be cooking up fun items such as blended teas, spices, food kits & jarred delicious foods using food grown in the farm, and cooked in my own kitchen for you to enjoy at home! One taste of my vibrant flavors will have you pleased that you entrusted your local summer produce to Vibrant Earth Gardens!
